If you want to extract and organize data from the GSTR2A Excel downloaded from the GST website, you can use Get GSTR2A, an Excel tool that simplifies the process of generating and accessing GSTR2A reports.
This project simply focuses on retrieving data and populating and consolidating the data in a meaningful way so as to use that data in reconciliation process.
Purpose
To retrieve data, filter data, consolidate data meaning fully with less human interventions and in less time to use the output to reconcile GSTR2A easily.
This is the basic layout of the Excel Template. This template has three basic functionalities on the users end.

Get Data | The first process that the user has to do in order to retrieve data from GSTR2A. This data is retrieved and stored in individual sheets each month ( similar to the form in which GSTR2A Excel format obtained from GSTR2A website). The get data function is given separately without liking it with filter data seamlessly because to encounter, identify and prevent and avoid and to enable double check if any omission, error or disorientation in data retrieving process. (This process does not alter the original GSTR2A Excel File). |
Filter Data | Now when all the data is retrieved without error in the same manner as it exists in GSTR2A, this process filters and consolidates the data from the retrieved data, in order to eliminate any duplicate data and assigns the data meaningful identification by consolidating it month & year wise. |
Add Type | This functionality is provided so that the user can be enabled to fetch different types of data and consolidate them. |
Functionality | This functionality is given in order to auto correct any errors in the template which the user cannot correct by himself due to code execution. |
